The iCMLf launches Patient Advisory Board Committee to elevate patient perspectives
April 2024 - We are pleased to share more details about the new iCMLf Patient Advisory Committee (PAC), aimed at amplifying the voices and experiences of CML patients within the International CML Foundation's endeavours.
Committed to improving the outcomes of patients with CML globally and ensuring that the patient’s perspective will be incorporated into the Foundation’s educational and research initiatives, the iCMLf has established a specific PAC as a vital component of its governance and structure.

Recognising excellence in CML - Celebrating the 2024 iCMLf prize recipients
March 2024 - We are delighted to announce the recipients of the 2024 iCMLf Prizes; Professor Neil P. Shah (Rowley Prize), Professor Jeff H Lipton (Goldman Prize), and Viji Venkatesh (iCMLf Prize).
Following numerous nominations received from the CML community, a panel of previous prize winners and the iCMLf Directors and Advisors has selected these individuals to acknowledge their exceptional contributions to advancing our understanding of CML biology and enhancing CML management.
All three are globally respected personalities and recognised experts in their field with a long professional and personal heritage in CML - as scientists, clinicians and patient advocates.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all prize recipients for their unwavering dedication, inspirational work, and tireless commitment to people living with CML.
Vale Professor Connie Eaves (1944 - 2024) - A Stem Cell Icon
March 2024 - With sadness we share the news of the death of Connie Eaves, a great friend, mentor and inspiration to those in the CML community.

Dr Connie Eaves made major contributions to the understanding of leukemia and breast cancer biology. Her pioneering research, including the identification of quiescent cancer stem cells, revolutionised cancer treatments and research methodologies worldwide.
