July 2019 - The iCMLf has a goal: to find a cure for CML. We want every patient with CML to achieve long-term remission doesn’t require ongoing therapy.
The iCMLf has formed a CURE CONSORTIUM to drive research for a cure. But to get started we need major funding. And we need YOUR support.
With the Climb for cure 2019 we are actively seeking funds to support the iCMLf CURE Program.
Your contribution will really make a difference.
We need to be innovative and ambitious to find a cure for CML. And we can only do it together.
The CML research community has already started to work together under the banner of cure. In a first step the iCMLf Genomic Alliance will set up a shared database to facilitate data assimilation, sample exchange, cross-validation and ultimately, validation of a genomically-based predictor. Further steps will follow soon.

A committed team of 25 researchers, doctors, patients and supporters of the iCMLf from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and both North and South America are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on the iCMLf Climb for a cure 2019 to create awareness and to help us raising funds.
Our aim is to raise at least $200,000 – but there are no limits!
Just under $55,000 has been raised so far, which is amazing, but it’s still a long way to a cure for CML.
You can help us to achieve our fundraising goals and beyond.
$100,000 will support a mutation screening project on drug resistance, $400,000 will support a project that optimise our approach to treatment free remission, $1,100,000 will fund the Genomic Alliance for 3 years.
Do you want to do your part to finally make CML curable?
Your contribution will really make a difference.
