iCMLf Knowledge Centre - new eLearning tool for clinicians, molecular biologists and pathologists
June 2018 - The iCMLf is delighted to announce the launch of the iCMLf Knowledge Centre, an interactive online resource providing educational content on CML. This new resource complements the other major online educational programs as part or our efforts to improve clinical practice and disease monitoring in CML worldwide through global education initiatives.
eLearning for clinicians, molecular biologists and pathologists
The iCMLf Knowledge Centre is intended to enhance your knowledge through self-study. You can choose between two learning paths. One is tailored for clinicians and the other specifically for molecular biologists and pathologists.
Learning modules cover;
- CML treatment goals
- Monitoring in CML
- Practical considerations of testing
- Patient case studies
Each slide set is followed by a quiz to check your knowledge. Certificates are available on completion of each module.
You can access the iCMLf Knowledge Centre here
Once you have signed up you can choose the learning path that suits you best.
Collaboration with international CML experts
The content has been produced in collaboration with a panel of international CML experts from the iCMLf. The clinical path is chaired by Professor Giuseppe Saglio, Italy, and the laboratory path is chaired by Associate Professor Susan Branford, Australia.
We are especially grateful to Novartis Oncology who’s support has enabled us to bring this more formal CML education program to you. We hope that this new interactive online resource, will help you enhance your knowledge in CML patient management, understand available options for molecular monitoring, and learn about practical considerations of BCR-ABL1 testing.
